6 年前的今天，當年只得 18 歲、參加了 Sunshine Nation 的 Shawn 竇驍， 與其他 9 位 Sunshine Boyz & Girlz 為 SSN 拍攝宣傳海報及電視廣告。相比起近年的 SSN， 當年的比拼更為激烈，5 男 5 女（2010 年後改為 4 男 4 女）競逐冠軍及其他獎項。Shawn 當年以陽光的笑容及健碩的身型奪得 2007 年 Sunshine Nation 冠軍。

China rising star Shawn Dou, aka 2007 Sunshine Nation Champion, along with Sunshine Boyz Bradon Lin gave us a big surpise when they came back to visit old friends at Fairchild Radio. Shawn is now participating in a new movie called "Wolf Totem" in Inner Mongolia. The movie has scheduled to be released in late 2014, and will participate in 2015 Oscar Best Foreign Language Film Award, on behalf of China.

6 years ago, Shawn was just a 18 year-old boy who entered the contest of Sunshine Nation; today he is considered as one of the best Asian actors who has a bright future in Hollywood movie industry.

參加 Sunshine Nation 比賽的實戰經驗為 Shawn 開闢演藝之路。考入北京電影學院後，Shawn 的陽光帥氣被中國名導張藝謀看中 ，點名飾演電影「山楂樹之戀」男主角「老三」一角，自此 Shawn 的星途一片光明，接拍的戲越來越多，合作的卡士演員亦越趨國際化。最近他拍攝的「狼圖騰」更會代表中國於 2015 年角逐奧斯卡最佳外語片。Shawn 逐漸走向世界舞台，被視為最有機會打進好萊塢的華語影星之一。

話雖如此，Shawn 亦毋忘加拿大中文電台，日前返回溫哥華渡假即回「娘家」探望電台 DJ 好友，李方大哥、Mary、阿愷、Janice、Sam 全不知情，同行的還包括當年一起參加 Sunshine Nation 的好友 Brandon 林建興 (當年參賽編號 #2)。What a surprise!!
