Christmas song Mariah Carey 稱霸「聖誕歌壇」多年 直至她重出江湖

「叮叮噹～叮叮噹～」你也感受到空氣中濃濃的聖誕氛圍了嗎？說到聖誕歌曲，「聖誕女王」Mariah Carey 的《All I Want for Christmas is You》在每年的 12 月都穩坐「Billboard Hot 100」 榜首，但今年的第一名卻另有其人！ 

Christmas is just around the corner. "All I Want for Christmas is You", one of the most popular Christmas songs, was always on the top of "Billboard Hot 100" during the Christmas season. But this year, another song took the No.1 spot, which song is it? 

有「聖誕女王」之稱的 54 歲美國歌手 Mariah Carey，她的《All I Want for Christmas Is You》是一首象徵冬天和聖誕節的經典歌曲，被公認為史上最成功的聖誕頌歌，儘管這首歌創作於上世紀的九十年代，然而自 1994 年發行後，仍然是每年聖誕節播放量最高的歌曲。 

但今年，榜首卻由老牌歌手 Brenda Lee 獻唱的《Rockin' around the Christmas Tree》拿下，登上 12 月「Billboard Hot 100」排行榜冠軍！剛過 79 歲生日的 Brenda Lee，在當年有「Little Miss Dynamite」（爆炸小姐）之稱，擅長 rockabilly 與福音音樂，她上次稱冠 Billboard 已是 63 年前的《I Want to Be Wanted》。

雖然被躋下 Billboard 榜首位置，但 Mariah Carey 仍然透過《All I Want for Christmas is You》賺取了可觀的版稅。根據 Billboard 去年 12 月的報導，Mariah Carey 每年單靠《All I Want for Christmas Is You》的版權稅，就能賺取約 155 萬美元，過一個快樂又豪華的聖誕節。Billboard 解釋，截至 2017 年 12 月，此歌累積收入就達到 6,000 萬美元！其實從 1990 年到 2020 年，Mariah Carey 有不少歌曲在「Billboard Hot 100」 中排名第一，但像《All I Want for Christmas Is You》般歷久不衰，年年稱霸的，就前無古人，恐怕也後無來者，因此每到聖誕節，她都被外界形容為「Billboard Queen」。 

在今年 12 月第一個星期的 Billboard 排行榜，有 6 首聖誕歌打入十大，包括第 10 位 Andy Williams 的《It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year》、第 6 位 Burl Ives 的《A Holly Jolly Christmas》、第 5 位 Wham! 的《Last Christmas》，以及第 4 位 Bobby Helms 的《Jingle Bell Rock》等。強敵在前，「聖誕女王」能排在亞軍，已經非常不錯。

Mariah Carey 以聖誕歌《All I Want for Christmas is You》稱霸「聖誕樂壇」29 年， Mattel 今年 11 月推出聖誕造型的 Mariah Carey 芭比娃娃，趕在聖誕旺季發售。
