講到 Disco，大家會想到甚麼？Bee Gees？ABBA？還是電影《Saturday Night Fever》裡 John Travolta 的經典舞姿？

對喜愛 70 和 80 年代 Disco 音樂的人來說，那是個電音舞曲還未發達的年代；大家幾乎都是聽著節奏輕快的音樂，用隨興的態度愉悅地在舞池上跳舞。 Disco 音樂在發展初期一度面臨中斷，還好有電影《Saturday Night Fever》的出現，整個社會又再度恢復搖擺風潮，甚至更勝從前！

They say "Disco will never die" and I agree! Disco was awesome in every aspect - the clothes were great, the music was fun, and the parties were outstanding! Experience those good times again on February 28 (Friday) at the "Glamorous Disco Night". Music, dancing, games, prizes, mirror balls and delicious cuisines. 嚴格來說，Disco 的發展史分為兩階段：前期主要走舞廳風格，被大眾視為邊緣文化，歌曲也是偶爾才有機會擠進單曲排行榜。而到了後期，則是發展成為全面的文化活動，舉凡廣播、電影、電視、流行音樂等，都成為 Disco 音樂的天下！

近幾年 Disco 音樂又再度矚目，並喚起不少人的美好回憶。 加拿大中文電台於 2 月 28 日舉辦的「華麗 Disco Night」晚宴，就是要跟大家一起穿梭時空，返回 70 和 80 年代 Disco 音樂的光輝歲月。

早前，加拿大中文電台找來一班新晉 DJ，把他們改頭換面，裝扮成 8 位代表 70 和 80 年代中西 Disco 音樂的靈魂人物，為「華麗 Disco Night」拍攝宣傳短片。宣傳片中的 8 首 Disco 神曲，包括《Let’s Dance》、《Physical》、《Karma Chameleon》、《Stayin' Alive》、《What a Feeling》、《Dancing Queen》、《跳舞街》和《冬天裡的一把火》，哪首你最喜愛？快來參與我們今期的 [每週一 POLL] 吧！截止日期：1 月 28 日 (Sunday)。
