8 位陽光活力、青春迫人的 Sunshine Girlz 今天首次亮相，她們平均年齡只有 17 歲，大部份說流利普通話，其中更有一位是中國和哥倫比亞的混血兒。她們的性格活潑開朗，好動的喜愛刺激，閒時愛駕駛小型飛機、滑浪、爬山；文靜的則鍾情於寫歌、唸詩、做點心。雖然她們各有所愛， 8 位少女卻有一共同點，就是愛逛街購物，並且對潮流觸覺十分敏銳。

經過多位專業導師三星期的密集式儀態、談吐和舞蹈訓練後，8 位 Sunshine Girlz 從普通的學生，搖身一變成為萬人喜愛的甜美可人兒，衣著更入時，舉止更優雅。從今天起，她們將要面對首項挑戰 - 角逐網上投選的「我最喜愛Sunshine 大獎」。她們的個人簡介及自我介紹短片現已上載於 Sunshine Nation 網頁，所有參與投票的網民均有機會贏取豐富獎品。Sunshine Nation (Girlz SpeXial) 決賽當晚，8 位 Sunshine Girlz 將會上演一幕幕激烈的比拼去爭奪冠軍、豐參健康食品才藝大獎及美容閣纖體護膚化妝品中心陽光魅力大獎。

今年 Sunshine Nation (Girlz SpeXial) 的焦點除了8 位笑容可掬的 Sunshine Girlz外，還有台灣 5 位 SpeXial 的型男成員。團長宏正將率領團員偉晉、晨翔、Evan 和 Teddy 來到溫哥華為 Sunshine Nation (Girlz SpeXial) 擔任特別表演嘉賓。Evan 是自 2012 年贏得 Sunshine Nation 冠軍並加入SpeXial 男團後，首次以 SpeXial 成員身份於溫哥華作公開表演，今次 Sunshine Nation (Girlz SpeXial) 的演出，將會是 SpeXial 衝出亞洲的首站。

由 10 位帥哥組成的唱跳男團 SpeXial 出道幾年經已紅遍中、港、台樂壇，早前更在馬來西亞舉行個唱。這次他們派出宏正、偉晉、晨翔、Evan 和 Teddy 5位型男跟 8 位Sunshine Girlz 在台上 crossover，看頭十足，定必掀起 SpeXial 粉絲的搶票熱潮。Sunshine Nation (Girlz SpeXial) 將於 8 月 28 日假 Michael J. Fox Theatre 舉行，門票現已於加拿大中文電台時代坊辦事處公開發售，詳情：604-295-1234。
