加拿大中文電台今天要為各位推薦一場您不能錯過的精彩愛心慈善演出！著名抒情女高音閆謹將於11/8與溫哥華大都會管弦樂團合作，於 Chan Centre 舉行「愛的樂章慈善演唱會」。當晚她將會演出音樂大師德沃夏克及歌劇大師普契尼的名曲，演唱會收益更將捐助加拿大防癌協會的「好時光夏令營」， 讓不幸患上癌症的兒童、青少年及其家人能在暑假享受獨特的康樂經驗，參與本次的演出可謂是一舉兩得，能享受優美音樂之外更能奉獻公益，請大家切勿錯過！

The acclaimed lyric soprano Jessica Yan and the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra will perform a special concert in support of Canadian Cancer Society's "Camp Goodtimes" program. The "EAST MEETS WEST" Beating Cancer for Kids Concert will feature favourites from Dvorak and Puccini such as La Luna and O Mio Babbino Caro. Fairchild Radio would like to encourage everyone to take part in this special event.  Not only can you enjoy the great music, you will be helping those in need as well!

閆謹在亞洲及加拿大進行表演和指導學生已超過20多年。 她也曾參與許多本地的慈善演出，例如曾支持促進音樂教育及文化交流的Sino-Canadian Foundation， 幫助日本地震海嘯籌款等，也曾為中僑基金會的中僑星煇夜及加拿大防癌協會的「溫哥華華裔小姐競選」慈善晚宴作特別表演嘉賓。
